MoonlightFans Color and Lighting Tutorial

Go from  to  or  in five steps!

Uses selective coloring, so Photoshop only. Sorry!

1. Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen, optional of course. Do whatever you want to customize your base, add a SCREEN or SOFT LIGHT layer if you want till you feel comfortable.

2. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Selective Color.
Insert the following values:

Reds
Yellow + 100

 

Neutrals
Cyan + 65 
Magenta +22
Yellow -6

3. Filter > Other > Offset.
Insert the following values.

Horizontal +5
Vertical -5

4. If you want to stop there, it'll look great. But if you want to add a little glow of color, and this texture at SCREEN, whatever opacity fits your liking:


5. Do whatever you want to customize your icon and your done!
