Screencapping Programs

I love Cold Case and would like to make some moving icons but nobody ever screencaps the show!! I have the eps but I was wondering if there is a program that I can just leave running that will screencap the whole show like every 2 seconds by itself or something?? My Windows Movie Maker is playing up and won't work =(
