Made in Photoshop 6.0, involves Color Balance and Selective Coloring.
Made in Photoshop 6.0, involves Color Balance and Selective Coloring.
Okay, so crop/resize your picture, etc. Sharpen icon once.
Duplicate it, and set it to overlay 30%.
Create a new Color Balance layer. (Layer>>New Adjustment Layer>>Color balance)
Settings:
Midtones: -38, -18, 11
Now, create a new Selective Color layer. (Layer>>New Adjustment Layer>>Selective Color)
Settings:
Reds: -100, 100, 100, 39
Cyans: 100, 100, 0, 100
Blues: -100, 45, -64, 0
Whites: -9, 40, 100, -5
Neutrals: 64, -9, 100, 13
Duplicate the base, drag it to the top, desaturate and set to softlight. Duplicate it again, and set to Darken 30%. Duplicate it a third time, set to screen 10%.

And you're done!
