Adding Text--Paint Shop Pro (most an example)
This is how I add text to my icons in Paint Shop Pro 7.
1. Go to File>Open and select the icon base to work with.
2. Select the Text Tool from the toolbar. Click on the base.
3. Type your text in the window that opens up.
4. To change the font, highlight the text you've written, and go to the drop-down menu in the top left hand corner of the Text Window.
5. Select the font you would like to use by clicking on it. Follow steps 4 and 5 for changing the text size, only use the "Size" drop-down menu, located next to the Font menu.
6. To change the font color, go to the Styles sub-heading of the Text window. Click on the "Fill" color.
7. A new window should open. Select the color you want for text, then click "Okay." The window should close.
8. When you are finished, click "Okay." Your text should appear on the image.
