Start with your base:
Duplicate base and set to screen 100%
Create a new layer, set it to set to softlight 100%
Create another new layer, set it to set to exclusion 100%
Duplicate base and bring it to the top and set it to softlight. Merge all.
Then go to Hue/Saturation/Lightness, set saturation to 40. Merge all. Sharpen once.
