Fixing washed out images

I checked the memories and couldn't find what I was looking for, but maybe I missed it (if I did, please point it out to me).

I am using CS2 and I'm having problems with
. This is the original. As you can see it's quite blue, so I did all 3 "autos" and ended up with
. Now it's almost greyscale.

I experimented with colored layers and hue/saturation, but I just can't seem to make it vibrant and natural looking.

Also, does it look a little skewed/distorted to you?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
