Fairly simple question

Iv'e been playing around on PS7 today for a good hour or so trying to figure this out and and I still have nothing.
My question is:
How do you add a texture to a shape on PS7?
Iv'e looked for tutorials, and I could've sworn I had saved one, but apparently I did.
