Photoshop 7.0 problem

For some reason, photoshop randomly decided to hand me a problem. The text size mostly. If I type something in size 8 pt, it looks like as if I put it in size 18 or something. Here's a picture to help if it can. I tried looking through the archive and I didn't see anything. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Is there any solution or something? Thanks to anyone who can help. ._.;
