Snarky Spike Tutorial
This is a tutorial for the coloring i did on my life serial icon "snarky" for

Making:
Details: using CS, no selective color, possibly translatable, uses color balance, no hotlinking from my server, comment and show me what you think or make.
Get Snarky Spike:
i used this to create
1. the first adjustments to the image i did were,
image >> adjustments>>auto contrast
image >> adjustments>>auto levels
image >> adjustments>>auto color
2. Next I cropped the image down.
3. Now i duplicated the layer and sharpened once, set this to layer to screen.
4. now duplicated the screen layer and set to soft light.
5. create a new colorbalance layer and i used the following although these may vary with each image.
Midtones: -45 -49 -49
Shadows: -23 +5 +25
Highlights: -39 -22 -48
6. i rotated this texture and set to softlight and masked out the majority of it so that it only appears on spikes right-hand side.
