Colouring and/or effect help/request
I am hoping someone on here can help me with this, its a little complicated so all the info is under the cut.
But before that, a little needed info: I use Photoshop CS3 (I've worked my way up) and I've used it for quite a few years now so I'm not new at it, but I am new at what looks good on icons (I usually work with larger images, a lot larger!)

I have 4 Icons for 2 shows, but where they are going to be used will be one lj community. I would like to them to look somewhat similar in colouring and effect so hopefully someone can recommend a style and/or colour tutorial.
Thing is, each of these icons, also has to match a picture on the header, so I can't use textures that are specifically for Icons.
Does anyone have any ideas that I could use?
