1. Get a base, and make sure there is a medium to a lot amount of blank space on the base… (A portion that you can erase) make the background layer transparent. Make your base a second layer.
2. Erase the portion that is not your person…don’t make the edges of your person rough and don’t miss spots. If your BG is white, or the same color, you can use the magic wand tool

3. Duplicate the layer and set the duplicate to soft light.
4. After this you need to create a new layer and fill it with a color like this: 0E09D1. Set this layer to exclusion with opacity 20%. Make another layer and fill it with ffe9d2, this time set the blending to soft light with opacity 63% again.
5. Click here  and go to brushes, download rising sun...then pick a brush to use as the Background. Define it as a brush, and change the color to fit your needs

6. Make a new layer at the bottom. Make it white.
7. add this base to the top and set it to darken. You pick the opacity.

8. add text or hearts. And you can also add drop shadows and stroke the image…
