New tutorial!
lol.. I've been forgetting to post the tuts in my journal, as well as icon_tutorial, so I'm not going to number my tuts anymore..
I know y'all are probably getting bored with all the Carrie tutorials I make, but I promise-- As soon as I find other good photo galleries, I'll use different people ;)
Anyway, today we'll be going from this and this to this

Anyway, today we'll be going from this and this to this
1.) Resize and crop one of your images. Sharpen if needed. ( I sharpened mine twice)
2.) New Layer. Fill with #00264C on Difference at 50% opacity.
3.) Another new layer. Fill with #C2DC61. Darken 25%
4.) Duplicate the original layer and set it to Lighten at 45% Opacity
5.) Open your 2nd image. Resize it. I resized mine to about 100 as the heigth. I had to sharpen and brighten mine a bit. If your pic is really dark, i suggest doing this.
6.) Now turn that image Black and White.
7.) Make a new layer on your avatar. Set it to Lighten 100%. Paste on the B&W image. Move it around until you get what you want. Erase anything you don't want. I didn't want any of the background, so I removed it.
8.) New layer. Fill with #FCDDFF. Set to Color Burn 100% Opacity
9.) Flatten your image. With the Color Dropper choose one of the colors on the yellow-tan side of the color wheel from your avatar. Use that color, and set it to Darken.
10.) Add text, brushes, and anything else you want to it, and you're done!
I'd LOVE to see what you make!
