Rumsoaked Tutorial #1

This is my first tutorial.

1. Crop your base. Sharpen if needed. (I sharpened)

2. Duplicate your base, set the layer to screen. If your image is still really dark, duplicate it more than once. I duplicated mine twice.

3. Create a new layer. Fill this layer with #011e31 Set this layer to exclusion.

4. Create another new layer. Fill this layer with #c8eaff Set to soft light.

5. Merge visible.

6. Duplicate your new base and set this layer to color burn.

And you're done! I hope someone finds this helpful.

** Sometimes this isn't very satisfying, or it's too dark. If I don't like the color, I add a new hue/saturation layer and up the saturation to my satisfaction, or if it's too dark, I add a new curves layer and play with the settings. (I upped just the saturation on this particular icon, but most of the time it doesn't need it)

If you have any questions, just ask, and I would love to see what you come up with. :]
