a simple tutorial using photoshop CS (easily translatable)

*note* this is my first tutorial! so i hope you like it. and you may not see much difference in the first few steps but it all adds to the end result. and all my layers are set to 100%.
1. start out with your image, im using a picture of Blake Lewis. Crop, sharpen, whatever.

2. add a color balance layer, and set it to -11, 0, +9.
(make sure the tone balance is on midtones and check the box for "preserve luminosity")

3. add a hue/saturation layer. set the saturation to +14.

4. add another color balance layer, and set it to 0, 0, +6.

5. add a selective color layer.
R: +8, 0, 0, 0
Y: +9, 0, +3, +11
C: +6, 0, 0, 0
B: +16, 0, 0, 0

6. add a curves layer
Blue- input: 35/output: 55

and ta-da! youre done!
