Tutorial for PSP
A simple tutorial requested by
angelwolf24 for PSP 9. Not sure if it's translatable. Any questions please ask. I'd love to see what you make with this tutorial.

1. Take your image, crop it and resize to 100x100.

2. Since this particular image is a bit dark, DUPLICATE your base TWO times and set them both to SCREEN, but set the SECOND screen layer's opacity to 75%. Merge all layers.

3. Now go to LAYERS >> NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER >> HUE/SATURATION/LIGHTNESS and adjust your settings:

4. Go to LAYERS >> NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER >> COLOR BALANCE and set the SHADOWS to the following settings:

and you get:

5. Create a new RASTER LAYER and flood fill with #0b2144 and set to EXCLUSION, OPACITY 100%.

6. Create another new RASTER LAYER and flood fill with #f3ece3 and set to MULTIPLY, OPACITY 100%.

7. Duplicate your BASE, move to the top, DESATURATE and set to SOFT LIGHT, OPACITY 75%. Merge all layers and sharpen as needed.

8. Create a new RASTER LAYER and add text, brushes, whatever you want.
