Coloring Tut
My first tut and admit it isn't great.
Fairly simple not a great outcome with this picture but does work better with other pictures.

to this 1. Duplicate the background layer which should be you picture twice.
Set first to Multiply and second to Screen.
You Icon will look something similar to this depending on the darkness of the picture in the first place.
This is still too dark, just multiply you Screen layer untill it looks bright enough, not too bright though.
2. Create two new layers.
Fill the first layer with #ff0000 and the second with #00fffc and set both to overlay.
It should look brighter and you can see the figure clearer.
You can now flatten the image if you like.
3. Create another layer and fill with #ffffff and again set to overlay or screen, whatever looks best.
You may want to play around with the color till you get something that clears the image up more.
White will brighten it up whilst pinks and yellows gives it more color.
My finished one ended up like this.
