Optional Selective Coloring

1. I strongly suggest you run an Auto Levels and Auto Color on your cropped picture before you continue, though that's not required. It brings out the natural colors and contrasts of the picture. Go to Image+Adjustments+Auto Levels/Color.
2. If your picture is dark, now's the time to duplicate the layer with the blend mode Screen. I added one. Adjust as needed.
3. Optional Selective Color Layer. Go to Layer+New Adjustment Layer+Selective Color:
Neutrals;
Cyan = +35
Magenta = +20
Yellow = -20
Black = +5
Adjust as needed. This setting may not work for all pictures.
4. Not-optional Hue/Saturation layer. Go to Layer+New Adjustment Layer+Hue/Saturation: Saturation +40
5. I then copied and pasted this brush from
papermache. Set it to Screen at 100%.
6. Over everything, I used this texture by
xonlyashesx. Before copying and pasting to the picture, I gave it an Auto Levels to darken it up. Set the texture to Soft Light at 100%.
7. Here you can add your own text or brushes that you would want. I added "Your Last Chance" in Century Gothic, pt.9. I put additional spaces between each letter.
You're done. I'm probably going to make a set like this eventually - look out for it atzelda_icons.
