Photoshop help

Hi, I hope this isn't against the rules, but I was making icons today and I was getting really frustrated because they were turning out really weird. The painting just didn't look right. So I click on brushes and I see this O_O



Airbrush and all those other little settings are like... under lock! It happened just today, because it was fine yesterday. I have no clue whatsoever what caused it and how to fix it. I've never even seen those lock thingies next to the options before! Anyone have any ideas? t_t
