Icon Tutorial One - Scarlett Johansson
Hey, thanks for stopping by and checking this out. This is my very first tutorial so concrit is definitely appreciated. *nods* (:
So, today we're going from this:
to this: 
1. So, after you've cropped your image, etc. etc. and all that jazz we're gonna have a selective colour layer.
Reds
Cyan: -100
Magenta: +100
Yellow: +100
Black +100
Yellows
Cyan: -100
Magenta: 0
Yellow: +100
Black: +100
Neutrals
Cyan: +22
Magenta: 0
Yellow: -15
Black: 0
Black
Cyan: 0
Magenta: 0
Yellow: 0
Black: +58
You could end up with something like this:
2. Next we're going to put a pale yellow [FEFF96] on top of the icon then in the blend settings, put it to Soft Light %100
3. We're then going to put a bright blue [59CAFF] and set it to Colour Burn and on an opacity level of 45%
4. Right, so I wanted to colour her lips a little bit more, so I'm painting over her lips in red [FE5532] and setting it to Soft Light on an opacity level of 59%
5.Next we're gonna put in another selective colour layer.
Reds
Cyan: -45
Magenta: +100
Yellow: +100
Black: +100
Yellows
Cyan: -100
Magenta: +100
Yellow: +100
Black: +100
6. Okay, now we've got a pretty good image. So we're gonna give it some depth by putting in a Brightness/Contrast layer on 0, +20.
7. Almost done, I swear. So, all you need is a curves layer at, 105, 147
8.Basically, we're finished now. I put a texture [sorry, I have no idea who it's by. If someone could tell me, that would be good] over mine though, [which I tweaked a little bit] and set it to Screen
