Made on PS CS using colour balance, colour fills, selective colouring, and levels. Is not translatable.
1] As always you have to find you picture or cap, crop it, and all the nice stuff you like to do to get your icons ready.
2] Create a Colour Balance layer and set to the folling:
SHADOWS: 0, -10, 13
MIDTONES: -23, 20, 19
HIGHLIGHTS: -6, -26, -17
3] Create a new layer and flood fill with #CEC3D3. Set to Colour Burn at 100%.
4] Create a new layer and flood fill with #0C151E. Set to Exclusion at 100%.
5] Create a new layer and flood fill with #0C151E. Set to Exclusion at 100%.
6] Create a new layer and flood fill with #F5EDD3. Set to Soft Light at 100%.
7] Create a Selective Colouring layer and set to the folling:
REDS
c: 0
m: 14
y: -20
b: 21
YELLOWS
c: -35
m: 30
y: 43
b: 0
CYANS
c: -21
m: 15
y: 21
b: 0
NEUTRALS
c: 11
m: 18
y: 13
b: -10
8] Create a Levels layer and set to the folling:
RGB
input: 18, 1.19, 234
output: 0, 237
RED
input: 0, 0.95, 255
output: 18, 255
BLUE
input: 7, 1.00, 255
output: 0, 253
8] Create a Colour Balance layer and set to the folling:
SHADOWS: -22, 10, -16
MIDTONES: -13, -9, -29
HIGHLIGHTS: 13, 0, -12
9] Duplicate your base, desaturate it and bring it to the top. Set the layer to Soft Light at 47%.
10] Create a new layer and flood fill with #DBDBDB. Set to Multiply at 31%.
11] Add your brushes, text, ect. For this icon I used Stellina at 20 pt and this texture that I came up with while messing around on paintshop the other day. Merge everything and yayz, you have an icon!
NOTE: This tutorial works with most pictures and caps that I tried it on but sometimes you have to tweek the numbers a bit to get it to work.
