Screencap Question

I have some screencaps that are kind of washed out, and I was wondering if anyone knew any good techniques on how to darken them up a bit? I think I saw a tutorial on this a while back, but I browed through the mems and couldn't find it.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

ETA - I have both PSP9 and PS7.
