First tutorial - Soulmate

Made in CS2. I *believe* it is translatable.

I start with this screencap I took from the Korean drama "Soulmate." ^^

Cropped / resized the "base" Duplicated the layer once and set to screen at 100% to get this :


Make a new layer and fill with #0D004C set at exclusion 100%.


Duplicate the base twice.

Set the first layer to screen 36% and the second layer to soft light 100%


Use this texture darkangel_alone made and set the layer to overlay 100%


Make a new layer and use a soft ~13 brush and make a small round spot on the bottom right corner. Slightly blur out the edges a little more and set the layer to Screen 100%


On a new layer, use the custom shape tool [or a brush!] and make a white heart in the middle of the spot. Set the heart layer to Normal 90% and drag BOTH layers down below the texture layer.


For the border, just make a new layer and stroke the outside with 3px in white and then 1px in black.
