My First Tutorial:) YAY!
Using PS7. Go from this to this: 
in 7 easy steps. Can not translate (to my knowledge)
-Feel free to try out this tutorial with your own pictures and show me what you came up with, I'd love to see:)
-Your numbers may be a bit different than mine. Play around with the settings to compliment your icon:)
-Do not repost this tutorial anywhere w/o my permission.
-Do not use my icon.
2) Duplicate your base twice set each those layers to Screen at 100%
3) Go to Image> Adjustments> Selective Color. Here are my settings
REDS
-100
+30
+21
+10
YELLOWS
+100
-63
-100
+100
NEUTRALS
+75
+18
+40
-55
4) Create another Selective Color layer (Image> Adjustments> Selective Color). These were my settings:
REDS

-10

YELLOWS

NEUTRALS

-8
5) Merge all layers (Layers> Flatten Image).
6) Create an Unsharp Mask (Filter> Sharpen> Unsharp Mask) These are my settings.
