My first tutorial ever! This was done in PSP7
1) Alright, first start out with the picture you want to use. I chose this one:
2)Crop it the way you want.
3)Now duplicate the layer and set it to "Soft Light". Then merge the two layers together. You might want to sharpen here if the image is blurry.
3)Copy the image and then paste as a new image. Then use the Gaussian Blur on your original. I set mine to 5.
4)Now erase the background of the copy of your image using the eraser tool.
5)Take the copy and paste it on top of the original as a new layer. Then merge your two layers together.
6)Duplicate the layer and set the top layer to "Soft Light"
7)Now make a new image sized 100x100. Pick a gradient to fill it with. I used "Metallic" with the angle set to 33.
8)Copy this image and paste it onto your picture as a new layer. Then change the opacity to whatever looks best for your picture. I used 37. After you did that, merge the two layers together.
9)Duplicate the layer again and set the top layer to "Soft Light". Then merge the layers.
10)Then go to colors-adjust-highlight/midtone/shadow. Set the box so it looks like this:
11)Alright, just add a border and you're finished!
