photoshop problemo.

welp, i am using a trail version of photoshop v.8, and everytime i open it up, all the brushes/gradients i uploaded are gone and my color settings are messed up. It's like the whole program resets when i exit it. So then i re-upload everything, only to have it "deleted" from the program when i open it up again. It just recently started doing it too. And it is a hassle to have too reload everything since i am a brush/gradient horrrr and need millions of them. =) i thought about just leaving photoshop open until my trial version is over (23 more days) but figured that was a bad idea since i will most likely have to restart the computer a few times before then. ;D
any help or suggestions is extremely appreiciated and i will hug you over and over again if you can give my any info to how i can fix my problemo.
