Scrolling Text -- Jasc PSP 7 and AS 3

I've checked through the memories and back a number of pages of posts, but I haven't seen it yet. If it has been posted before and I've somehow missed it, I'm sorry. My brain isn't being properly oxygenated with all these people burning leaves.

So how do you make scrolling text on an icon? I'm afraid that I don't have an example to show you, but I think the jist is pretty clear. Thanks!
