Question time!!

I've searched the memories TONS of times the past few days. I finally got the animated icon making down. Now I need help on making it under 40k. I saw a tutorial on that, but I'm pretty sure it was for PSP or whatever, and i'm using ImageReady.

Also, on the icon I'm using, how do you make text on it? Again, i've looked at the memories so much, that I may have over looked it, and I'm sorry if I have..
