Faded Line for Photoshop?
I'm wondering about the process of making a line that is faded on either end. I know you can do it in PSP, but I have no clue how to do it in PS7+

At this point, I feel I can still add a little more. I created a new layer at the top and drew a 1px line above the small text using a dark color I selected from the image. I then used the eraser tool with these settings: Hardness: 0; Step: 10; Density: 100; Thickness: 100; Opacity: 100. I set the size to around 30 and just clicked once or twice on either side of the line to give it the faded appearance.

That is the pic
teh_indy posted as to what it looked like in PSP.
I tried to duplicate it in PS7+, but didn't see any of the settings described (hardness, step, density, thickness) except for opacity. So is there a way to find these setting somewhere in PS7+?
