Hi there! I'm brand new to this community and I've found the memories extremely helpful. How sad is it that I've been making icons for two years without ever reading an image prep for screencap post? Anyway, 99% of my questions about icons have been answered, but I still have one problem:
I use PS7 CS. The posts on coloring have been immensely helpful, but my issue is redheaded females. If the actress is blonde/pale-skinned or dark-haired/pale-skinned, it's just a matter of levels, brightening or contrast. With redheads, however, it seems like the beige of the skin has so much red in it that trying to bring out the brilliant red of the hair ruins the skin. Does anyone have any tips on how to avoid this? I've tried saturating the hair by hand, but I'm admittedly a novice (and not great at that much precision) and hoping there's a better way.
