Glitter Animation Tutorial
this is my first tutorial so i'm going to explain it as best as I can. i did not make this tutorial, i memorized it.
PROGRAMS: Paint Shop Pro 8 & Animation Shop 3
i'm sure it can be translated, it's pretty simple. you MUST have an animation program
Making:

Step 1: Base is needed. You can either use a picture or blank canvas. I always use pictures. Decorate base however you want first. My base is the wonderful T.M. Revolution (had to get that in there)

Step 2: Depending on if you want the font on the picture or slightly hanging off, copy and paste the image on a new bigger canvas like so

Step 3: You'll need a new canvas for the font. Flood fill the canvas with black paint. Select the font you wish to use.
SUGGESTION: You should use a nice thick font so it's easier to paint. If a skinny font is used, the whole font will not be picked up & you would have to fill it in with a small brush. The font I used is Soft Sugar Plain. MAKE SURE YOU CREATE THE FONT AS FLOATING, NOT VECTOR. The letters should be pure white
Step 4: Outlining the font. To put a nice thick looking outline to the font, go to SELECTIONS - EXPAND. A window should pop up that titles Expand Selection. It will ask for number of pixels, make sure it says one. Over 3 would look really thick.
Step 5: Copy & paste the font onto the canvas with your base & adjust it to your liking

Step 6: Cut the image down so that it's only the base

Step 7: I used the sparkle fills from Pretty Secrets. First save the sparkle fill you want to use. Open Animation Shop and open the sparkle document you saved. There should be 3 different frames. Save each frame as it's own document.
TO GET GLITTERS INTO PROGRAM: Copy each document. Go into MY COMPUTER - LOCAL DISK (C:) - PROGRAM FILES - JASC SOFTWARE (or whatever program you use) - PAINT SHOP PRO 8 - PATTERNS - & paste it in. When you go back to your paint program the glitter fills should be in your pattern material
Step 8: Copy your base 2 more times so that you have 3 of the same doctuments open. Select one of the three glitter patterns & using the magic wand, fill each letter. Repeat this step with the other 2 documents using the other 2 glitter patterns

Step 9: Animation part. Now that you have all three documents filled with the glitter, go to your animation program

Take your first glittered document & paste it into your animation program. Copy next document & right click on first animation frame. Go to PASTE - AFTER CURRENT FRAME. Copy step for last document. Save.
Step 10: COMPLETE

That wasn't so bad ;) these are other examples of what i've did:

feel free to ask questions if you're lost. i'll try to help as much as possible. hope you like the tutorial :)
