We are going to go from
to
1. Prepare your base. I'm going to use one of the beautifull Sophia Bush
2. Duplicate you base twice. Set both to screen. The middle layer to 100% and the top screen layer around 30%.
3. New fill layer #07122d or
and set it too Exclusion 100%.
Duplicate it, and use the same settings. It should look something like
4. Go to Layer -> Flatten Image -> Select -> Select All -> Copy (Ctrl+C) -> go to your layer panel and
find there you should have a section called history window -> choose the selection above the flatten image, this should be the duplicate section -> Paste (Ctrl+V) -> set to soft light.
It now looks like
5. New fill layer #99c1db or
and set it too Soft light 100%
6. Another fill layer, #ccdfec
or and set it too color burn 100%
Your picture should look something like
7. Next cuplicate your base twice, and drag to the top. Set the first one too Hue 100%, and the top layer to Soft Light 100%
This is how it looks now
8. I then wrote SB in Garamond size 4pt in black, and then used a text brush below it.
9. I then put
made by Leggyslove, partly behind the text, and set it too Linear Dodge 100%.
10. Finally I choose a part of the picture, copyed and rezised it. I made two copies of it and desaturated one of them. I put a black border around the desaturated one and a white border around the color one. I then put them on the Icon we have been working on, and moved them around until I was satisfied.
Here it is finished
I hope you liked this tutorial, and I would love to see what you came up with.
Sorry for any wrong spelling.
