How to get this effect?

How do you get this effect (http://www.xtinaworld.com/ top banner) Not with all the light textures but how would you have more than one photo ontop of each other and you can't see the edges of the photos? I tried to do something like that but you could see the outlines of the photos :/

Am I making any sense? lol
