This is my first tutorial and it's very simple.

Using PSP9 but it can be done in others.
Start off with your base, crop, sharpen, contrast and all them other minor adjustments.
Add this texture (credit to
dearest) as a new layer and set it to 'Screen' at 80 opacity.
Select the eraser tool and erase the texture on her face, neck, hands and hair.
Now add this texture (if you know who made it please tell me) and set it to overlay 100 opacity.
Erase her face, I left her hair, hands and neck as it is.
Now add a new layer with #8b0b80
Set it to screen 100 opacity and erase her face, neck, hands and hair.
Here's what you get:
Add text, borders and blaah... to your hearts content!
