Organizing Brushes in PSP
Since this subject has came up I figured I would post this real quick. It only for PSP but mabye someone can post the adobe directions since I dont used adobe and it cant be found int the memories???
you can create folders and select which folders you want PSP to use for brushes. Then turn the folders you dont need off.
I am using PSP 8... but it should be pretty close as I have had several versions before =D
I usally keep about 40 brushes per folder. I will either have them seperated by the artist( if the brushes are by a artist I use alot ) or by the style( like 100x100, paint, grunge, splatter, etc.).
1) go to the brush tip file location (its when you pull up your brushes)

2) next, create a couple folders that you would LIKE to use and move your brushes into them. This means depending on which version of psp you use, that you have to move all files associated with each individual brush. For psp 8, I decided to move both the .PSPbrush file AND the PSPSCRIPT file.
Using the brush previewer will help you determine the names of the which brushes you would like to move. You can then look for that name in the main brush folder.
3) I also like to put all folders for my brushes into a single folder in the C drive. This is because if you place your brushes anywhere else, it ends up looking like this:

and then you cant see what you are using! :)
4) Lastly, go back to your brush tip file locations and click on it to bring up this screen.

5) Click the add button which will create a space for a new brush folder. Then Click BROWSE to find your newly created folders!
As long as you moved all files associated with each brush (some have more than one) youll be fine and the brushes will load into the program.
6) to turn folders ON and OFF just check which boxes you want on in the third column. I like to leave the orginal psp folder set as my default (1st column) so that I dont have to keep changing the default folder.
Hope this helped PSP users! Sorry i dont know Adobe :(
