Beveled text

Can anyone tell me how to make text beveled? Like the way "wicked" is at the top on here: http://digitallywicked.net/main.html
Or sorta like the "spring has sprung" and "iconorama" on this icon: by iconorama. Or is the text in that icon shadowed? lol.
