PSP9 Help

Everytime I try to customize my keyboard so that CTRL-M will merge instead of mirror, it works for the first couple of times and goes back to mirror. How can I make sure the keys I assign will be permanent?

Also, when I want to change my font size lower that 8 (and type in 6, etc.), it automaticaly changes back to size 8. How do I make sure that is permanent?
