Question on text

Ok, everytime I type text on an icon it gets all blurry. The anti-alias is set to 'Sharp', but the text still isn't.

and tiny text is just one fat black line.

I want to get rid of this sooo badly, so please help. And oh, sure, I use PSP9. I'm very sorry if this has been asked before, but I checked the memories and I couldn't find an entry on that.
