Ok, we go from this to ->

With PS 6


First we start with this base


Duplicate it and set the duplicated Layer (2 copy) to Screen 61%
It has to look like this now


Then go back to the base, duplicate it and set it on top of the layers.
Set the layer (2 copy 2) to Exclusion 37%.
Then we have this


Then go again to the base, duplicate it and set it on top.
Deseturate the layer (2 copy 3) and set it to soft light 100%


Sharpen the screened and the deseturated layer once. Then blur the parts, that you want to have blurred.

Then (still 2 copy 3) go to the blend modes, gradient overlay and take this gradient ( I hope it was this one. I think it's from 77words )
Set it to soft light at 100%


It has to look like this now


At least, Type a "W" in PT Banana Split (from www.dafont.com) And thats it :)
