Stock photo sites
Livejournal icons are sometimes a grey area, legal-wise. Sure, we put them together, but most of the time there's also the photographers who took the initial photos, the people who might have created the borders, templates, brushes, fonts, the authors of the quotes we use.
That's why I like stock photo sites: when I want to make an abstract icon, I want to use images that their authors wanted to be used.
