I looked through the archive trying to figure this one out, but couldn't find anything that worked, so...here goes.

I'm making banners for an icontest community. I saved the blank base and am cut/pasting the icons onto the banners. The first one went perfectly. Then I opened the blank banner again to work on the second one and everything went to hell. I tried to put text on it and it's just not working. Even at 0.1 size font the cursor is huge. And the text just will not show up, no matter what color/size I put it on. I've checked the resolution (it's set at 72) and I've tried highlighting the text to check the anti-alias, just in case, but it won't let me highlight it.

Can anyone help me? I'm TOTALLY stumped...
