Photoshop Questions

Hi you can call me Eric, but anyway I use photoshopCS and Usually get a pic I like and fool around with everything until i get somthing good. But now I wanna know how you guys do it. But the biggest problem I have is how do I download the differnt textures. I have seen link and all but I dont wanna mess with anything and I couldent find anything anywhere else. Thanks for the help guys.
