tutorial #03 for PSP8
Learn how to get this colouring:
take you picture (here's mine) and crop it. sharpen.
duplicate it and set it to soft light. duplicate again at soft light.
make a new layer filled with #ffe0b3 and set to multiply.
now, fill a new layer with #009fe4 and set to soft light. make a new layer on top of that filled with #001c3a and set to exclusion.

then duplicate the base and bring it to the top and set to soft light.
Add a 1px border set at soft light, too.
your layers should look like this:
p.s. for text on these sort of icons, I recommend the colour #249d9b. you don't have to use it, but I think it goes better. just a suggestion.
