From a B&W rose to a red rose (simple)

1. Start with this black and white base from gaelicaoife


2. Add a new layer with


3. Set it to Hard Light 84%


4. Merge all (flatten) and get this result


5. Now use this texture  (by ladybanteerin ) as a new layer and set it to Soft Light 100%


6. Merge all layers (flatten) and have this result


7. Now add text and/or a 1 pixel border (if you like)
