Tutorial- Adobe Photoshop

quill_chan wanted to know how I achieved that effect. I hadn't saved a PSD, so I made a new icon. Enjoy!





First, you have to get a base. I'm using a screencap from the Ring Two found here. To he left are the steps on prepairing your base. You should have gone from

Something like it; you may have to adjust some things, my screencap was a little dark to begin with.



Take your base and crop it to your liking. It doesn't have to reach the bottom of the icon, if you don't want it to. It should be a thin-ish picture and on one side of your icon.



Use this pre-installed photoshop brush to erase the bottom of your picture.



Make a selection in the shape of a rectangle and fill it with black.



Pick a color (I chose #0E6470 and use the same brush we used to erase and color within the selection. Sharpen it.



Make another rectangualar selection, but don't fill it. Just use the brush we've been using in black. Sharpen it.



Here are my dots. Your dots should be black and whatever color you chose for the thick black line before. To make dots, I used a 2px brush, and in brush options, set the spacing to 195%. Then just draw a curvy line. Sharpen it.
