FiRST TUT0RiAL. PSP9

Alright guys and gals this is my first tutorial so if anything I explain isnt understandable please feel free to comment and ask questions. Okay! Let's get started! Oh and I'm using PSP9.
First we start with this image.
1.Crop it to 100x100 so we end up with this
2.Sharpen once or to your liking. Adjust>>Sharpness>>Sharpen.
3.Duplicate base and desaturate. Adjust>>Hue and Saturation>>Hue/Saturation/Lightness.
[Hue:0 Saturation:-100 Lightness:0]
4.Set to Soft Light Opacity:100%
5.Duplicate base and set to Screen Opacity:100% Drag layer to top.
6.Duplicate Screen layer. Opacity:44%
7.New raster layer. Layers>>New Raster Layer Fill with #e5dfc1. Set to Exclusion. Opacity:22%
8.New raster layer. Used a brush made by
lipsofpoison with the color #e5dfc1. I rotated the brush clockwise 90 degrees. To acheive this, stamp the brush on the raster layer first. After that is done, you rotate just that brush layer. Image>>Rotate>>Free Rotate
And select everything as follows:
9.Added some small text "Breathe in right away, nothing seems to fill this place", in Arial Black size 1. Kerning 50. With the same color as the brush, #e5dfc1.
