Tutorial #5
Today we are going to go from this picture from I don't remember where, but it was probably Mugglenet or the Leakey Cauldron to

Step 1: Crop, resize and sharpen:

Step 2: Duplicate and set to screen 100%:

Step 3: Adjust curves on screened layer to:
to get:

Step 4: Duplicate the screened layer 2 times and set to screen 100% and 80%:

Step 5: Go to the base, duplicate it, drag to the top and set to multiply at 75%:

Step6: New raster layer. Flood fill with #040C20 and set to exclusion:

Step 7: Place this gradient
(by??) on top and set to soft light at 50%:

Step 8: Take this
gradient(by??) and set it to burn 65%:

Step 9: Duplicate the base drag it to the top, desaturate, adjust the curves at the same settings as the screen layer, and set to soft light 100%

Step 10: Next I took this
brush by
_joni and put it on the icon. Set it to soft light, then duplicated it, and set the duplicate on normal at 44%.

Then just add whatever text you'd like and you're done.
