PS7 Text Problem

I've only been having this problem recently.

I'll be resizing text and sometimes the font wouldn't look legible, and I'm talking default fonts like Airal and Georgia.

I'd have 6pt font - looks good
7pt font - blurry
8pt. font - blurry
9 pt. font - looks good

And I don't remember this ever happening to me before, and it's only on small pt sizes when I'm making icons. And no, my resolution is at 72.
