Flickering Candle Effect Question for Photoshop

I was trying to use this tutorial in Photoshop and I'm having a really hard time translating it from PSP, especially the first part where you adjust the color & saturation balances. Can anyone kindly point me in the direction of a flickering candle effect tutorial for Photoshop or help me figure out where the balances would be located in Photoshop?
