Tutorial #6: Simple coloring, Ashlee Simpson
Finally another icon tutorial. Sorry it took so long. This one is for a certain coloring again. Very simple. For Photoshop 7, could be translatable.
---->
I started with this base, which is a pic from Ashlee-Star.com cut down.

Then I duplicated the layer and went up to Filter>>Sharpen>>Sharpen.

I duplicated the layer again, setting it to Screen, 100% opacity.

Then I made a Curves Adjustment Layer. I simply moved it up to make the image brighter.

Then I used a gradient by 77words and set it to Color Burn, 100% opacity.

I used another gradient by 77words and set it to Exclusion, 42% opacity.

One last time, I used a gradient by 77words and set it to Overlay, 100% opacity.

Then I used this brush. However, I searched through my brushes and couldn't find the maker. So I'd love it if someone could tell me who it's by. I used the color #96A991.

Lastly, I added some random tiny text at 3pt Georgia using the same color as the last step.

And you're finished! If you have any questions, please ask.
