unsharp mask and such
I had two questions for everyone here.
1. I'm a big fan of using the Unsharp Mask feature but I just switched from PSPX to PhotoShop Elements 3.0. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good general setting for that feature? Generally, I'm making icons, not wallpapers or layouts, and I don't like the oversharp look, nor do i like having to blur everything back to normalcy after being over-pixelated. I do all my prep work before cropping it down to 100x00 and I just want something that will make it visible. I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this.
2. And speaking of cropping....in Photoshop Elements, i can't seem to find a window that gauges the size of your crop when i'm trying to do it. I end up with oddly sized crops and it's getting a little frustrating. Does anyone have any thoughts as to where I might find that?
